They’ll eat the dry grass, right down to the root, to squeeze out a little moisture. They don’t mind thorns. They’ll stand on their hind legs, necks straining to nibble on some low-lying tree branch. They’ll roam at a constant pace, living on their instincts, determined to make it to the end of the day.</p><p>They do all this without feeling sorry for themselves.</p><p>Without sulking.</p><p>Without giving up.</p><p>Without falling into depression.</p><p>Without hesitating to move on when necessary.</p><p>Goats know how to make the best of a bad situation.</p><p><strong>They survive, because they give themselves no other option.</strong></p>.<p>How does that Setswana saying go?</p><p><em><strong>E ya re go tlogelwa tsatsing, se ikise moruting.</strong></em></p><p>'When out in the burning sun, a creature will find the shade.'
