The donation is valued at over P20,000.00..Said Stanbic Bank Botswana Mogoditshane Branch Manager, Ms. Onalenna Disang, “Giving back to the community is a key part of our business culture and philosophy to show support, show that we care and show that we are committed to enhancing the lives of learners across the Nation. Education is a key CSI focus area for the Bank and has been throughout our 30-year journey to date, so this donation demonstrates our continued support towards positive academic outcomes for the students of Botswana. Our goal is to improve the lives of Batswana and it is critical that we support schools’ growth journeys as part of this. After all, these pupils are the future leaders of Botswana, and investing in strong and sustained academic performance and excellence is therefore paramount.”.Hatsalatladi Primary School, located in Molepolole, is a Government Primary School which admits pupils with ages ranging from 5 and 14 years including pre school. As one of the highest-ranked academic schools in the Lentsweletau Sub Region, it continues to deliver excellent academic results, leadership, sports, and culture, serving quality education to over 366 pupils at present..Speaking at the ceremony Hatsalatladi Primary School Head, Ms. Phinah Mosotho said, “We are indeed pleased to be receiving this donation for our learners and we truly appreciate Stanbic Bank Botswana for their kind gesture and also finding it fit to identify our school when we fully understand that during this difficult time, organisations are constrained by COVID-19 effects. We are grateful for institutions like Stanbic Bank who continue to be impactful towards the lives of students, with gestures such as this solving for practical, real needs. These donated items may be taken lightly by some, but we believe they will go a long way in helping our learners.”ENDS.
