GABORONE - Stanbic Bank Botswana Limited (the “Issuer” or “SBBL”) established a BWP 2 000 000 000 Note Programme ("Programme”) on 26th May 2008 pursuant to which SBBL may from time to time issue notes (“Notes”), which may constitute secured or unsecured Senior Notes or Subordinated Notes or Credit Linked Notes. Notes issued under the Programme are to be denominated in Botswana Pula (“BWP”). The maximum aggregate principal amount of all Notes from time to time outstanding under the Programme will not exceed BWP 2,000,000,000.

A Supplementary Programme Memorandum dated 14 November 2019 was issued to supplement and update the information on the Issuer that was provided in the Programme Memorandum dated 26 May 2008.

The following tranches of Notes have been issued by way of private placement under the Programme, and the BSEL has approved the listing of the Notes as of 13th October 2020: SBBL070 – BWP 132,520,000, Senior Unsecured Fixed Rate Notes, maturing 9th October 2025 ISIN Code BW 000000 2484 SBBL071 – BWP 118,200,000, Senior Unsecured Floating Rate Notes, maturing 9th October 2025 ISIN Code BW 000000 2492.
