GABORONE - In its continued efforts to become a fully digitally-led organisation, Absa Bank Botswana recently introduced a new banking service for its customers through the Sky branch. This new service is designed to allow Absa Bank Botswana customers to access a banker anytime they wish to do so by calling the contact center anytime of the day or the week. Furthermore, this service will support the set COVID-19 related protocols of social distancing and avoiding movements between branches, unless it’s absolutely necessary to do so.
“The introduction of the Absa Sky branch is a fundamental component of our digital offering. We fully know and understand more than ever and during these unprecedented times, our customers are looking for convenience and safe banking channels as they navigate their daily lives. We are therefore excited to offer banking services to our customers and make their banking easier and safer through the Absa Sky branch,” said Valeta Mthimkhulu, Retail Director at Absa Bank Botswana.
Services offered at the Absa Sky Branch are as follows;
Loans – Top up, clearance/ balance letters;
Payments – Absa to Absa account, Absa to local and international banks;
Account requests – Account details, stop orders/ direct debits variation, account activation, block/stop account, link accounts, order cheque book. Statements;
Credit cards – credit card loan, credit card equal payment plan, credit card limit increase or decrease. Point redemption; and
